• THE BIG CHANGE IN MY LIFE!
For the last sixteen summers I have played in the Algarve from May to October. And I have played twelve winters, from
December to March in the canary islands in Gran Canaria, each gig
seven nights a week. Believe me, that is some going.
While I was playing in the Canaries I met a lovely couple, Bernd and
Maria from Emden in Germany. They invited me to come and play. In
1995 I played in Emden and stayed in there house for three weeks.
Bernd also drove me in his car to play in Berlin. What a Drive...!
I would like to get in touch with them again. So, I say to Bernd and
Maria: If you see this website, please contact me!
Living in the Algarve - Portugal is great. The cost of living is very
reasonable.
In 2004 I was invited to play in the Middle East in the Royal
Meridian in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.
Anyway, Lady Luck was not with me, the European Football Cup was
hosted in Portugal that year. After playing for just ten nights the
gig was cancelled and I was back on the road again.
